Responsibilities
This position has the following physical requirements:
- Communicate with Spanish and English speaking customers through phone, email, and in-person about their order status and available products or needs available in the store location
- Provide friendly, efficient and accurate solutions for customers with the goal of customer loyalty and increased business sales
- Listen to and analyze customers' issues, investigate problems, and provide strategic solutions in both English and Spanish
- Ensure that customers always have the most complete and up-to-date information about the status of their orders
- Communicate product or service issues as they arise within the Customer Solutions department, as well as, with any additional, relevant departments
- Foster a team-oriented environment by maintaining a positive, professional attitude in all correspondence both within and outside the company
- Be willing to remain flexible and adapt to change as we continue to grow as a company
- Take initiative and use strategic thinking to ensure that The Restaurant Store is the leader in the online foodservice industry
- Learn about the foodservice industry and the products that we sell
- Guide customers through the website, while providing online shopping assistance and product help
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Work Environment
- Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 8 ½ hours/day.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds.
- Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
Qualifications
Experience
A college degree or work experience in a related field is preferred
