Job Summary
The Vice President of Employee Services is responsible for leading a dynamic Employee Services team in supporting over 8,000 dedicated employees. The Employee Services team is comprised of over 50 employees supporting 4 internal divisions: Employee Experience, Employee Relations (Compliance), Compensation and Benefits, and Training and Development. This role is responsible for creating a distinct Employee Services strategy that reflects the Company’s unique history of people managers taking a more active role in traditional human resources functions.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the Employee Services function, including recruitment, employee experience, learning and development, benefits, compensation, employee relations, compliance, and payroll.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, learning, and coaching by building and scaling development programs that align with Company values.
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders across the organization to foster a culture in which people feel engaged and inspired to achieve excellence and managers take a hands-on role in core processes.
- Ability to lead through change, scale and develop high-performing teams, and develop and implement strategy in a fast-paced environment.
- Remove roadblocks, align department strategy with broader business needs, and ensure systems and processes are efficient, scalable, and compliant.
- Optimize the Employee Services function, holding a high standard for commitment to support the Company’s growth by scaling impact among people managers disbursed throughout the Company.
- Analyze employment-related data to understand key organizational dynamics, monitor trends and issues and define and execute appropriate strategies.
- Lead benefits strategy, administration, and payroll operations.
- Partner with internal and external counsel on investigations, regulatory inquiries, workforce audits and to ensure compliance with multi-state labor and employment laws, wage and hour regulations, OSHA, EEO, Workers’ Compensation, Benefits, 401(k), Safety, and industry-specific requirements.

- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
