Job Summary
11400Inc. is seeking a Project Manager with experience in commercial construction to join our North Carolina operations team. We are construction professionals specializing in commercial foodservice equipment and installation projects.
This position may be office-based in the Charlotte, NC area or remote within our NC office territory. For remote candidates, South Carolina and Georgia are preferred locations, with the greater Atlanta area being of particular interest as we continue to support and expand our project coverage throughout the Southeast. Remote candidates must reside within reasonable travel distance of their assigned project territory.
Project Managers are responsible for managing, controlling, tracking, and coordinating all aspects of commercial kitchen projects from submittals through procurement, installation, and project closeout.
Our Project Managers oversee multiple active projects simultaneously throughout our territory, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia. Regular project site travel is an important part of the position.

Responsibilities
- Successfully manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines and commitments.
- Maintain timely and effective communication with general contractors, design teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal project team members.
- Organize, review, and manage construction documents, equipment submittals, shop drawings, and project correspondence.
- Track project schedules, procurement requirements, change orders, RFIs, ASIs, and other project-related documentation.
- Review project requirements and proactively identify coordination issues before they impact fabrication, delivery, or installation.
- Visit project sites and attend construction meetings as necessary.
- Oversee equipment procurement, fabrication, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate equipment installation with general contractors, subcontractors, and associated trades.
- Assist with field coordination, installation readiness, punch list completion, and project closeout.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively communicate issues, risks, and required decisions.
- Look for opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

- Comfortable reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Education
This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.
Desired Traits & Skills
- Prior experience in commercial construction, architecture, engineering, or design is preferred.
- Experience with commercial foodservice equipment is not required.
