Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Food Safety and Quality Associate to join our growing Product Compliance team. This is a fast-paced corporate role supporting private label food and beverage brands as well as distribution services. This hire will play a key role in monitoring product performance, managing complaints, supporting vendor oversight, and contributing to successful new product launches. This role is hybrid in Lancaster, PA and reports to the Director of Regulatory Affairs.

Responsibilities
- Review, log, and assess customer and consumer complaints on a daily basis.
- Identify patterns and root causes by analyzing monthly trends.
- Prepare reports and summaries for internal teams and leadership.
- Partner closely with Procurement, Operations, and external Vendors to investigate issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Track progress of corrective actions and ensure timely follow-up.
- Support communication and alignment across teams to maintain high product quality and compliance standards.
- Assist in the evaluation and approval of new vendors, including documentation, data collection, and process coordination.
- Participate in new product launch activities, ensuring compliance requirements and quality expectations are met.
- Maintain accurate records related to product specifications, vendor performance, and evaluations.
- Draft clear, concise communications for internal and external partners.
- Balance multiple priorities and deadlines with strong organizational skills.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and similar tools effectively.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in a food & beverage, consumer goods, operations, procurement, supply chain, or quality-focused role.
- Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing data or trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Power BI
- Knowledge of food safety, quality systems, or regulatory processes
