Job Summary
The Senior Global Sourcing Manager plays a critical role in executing global sourcing strategies that support cost optimization, quality performance, risk mitigation, and supply chain continuity. This role partners closely with cross functional teams and global suppliers to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence. This role serves as the primary owner of key supplier relationships and leads the development and execution of negotiation strategies that drive long-term value for the business.

Responsibilities
Supplier Relationship Management
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, responsiveness, and alignment with company standards.
- Lead supplier business reviews, track KPIs, and drive corrective actions to improve quality, delivery, and cost.
- Partner with suppliers to identify value creation opportunities, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Negotiation & Cost Management
- Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and service levels to achieve optimal total cost of ownership.
- Conduct cost analyses, benchmark pricing, and support long term cost reduction initiatives.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with merchandising, procurement, transportation, quality, and compliance teams to ensure sourcing decisions meet business, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Support the implementation of new systems and tools to enhance supplier visibility, performance tracking, and risk mitigation.
Market & Category Insights
- Monitor global market trends, supply base shifts, and emerging sourcing opportunities.
- Provide category insights and recommendations to inform strategic planning and supplier selection.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or procurement, preferably in a global environment.
- Demonstrated success in supplier management, negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Experience working with international suppliers and navigating global trade, compliance, and quality requirements.
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and grow team members while fostering a collaborative, high-accountability culture.
Education
