As a Forklift Technician, you’ll keep our operation rolling by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment like forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks. You’ll work with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to keep everything running safely and smoothly. From preventative maintenance to quick fixes and the occasional urgent repair, you’ll be the go-to problem solver who helps minimize downtime and keep things moving.

Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and fix issues in hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems; repair brakes, masts, and attachments.
- Maintenance: Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and part replacement.
- Technical Expertise: Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct safety inspections, maintain a safe work area, and follow safety protocols.
- Documentation: Complete legible service logs, work orders, and maintain parts inventory.
- Equipment: Work on LP, gas, diesel, and electric forklifts, using hand/power tools, welding, and other equipment.

Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
