Job Summary
WebstaurantStore, a Clark Associates company, is the largest online distributor of restaurant supplies and equipment, offering more than 430,000 products with fast, dependable shipping. We are seeking a Post-Production Manager to lead the operational, creative, and people-management aspects of our video post-production team.
This role oversees the end-to-end post-production workflow—from project intake through editing and final delivery; while ensuring editors have the resources, timelines, and guidance they need to succeed. The Post-Production Manager is both a hands-on creative leader and a strategic operator, balancing workflow oversight, resource planning, and mentorship with high creative and technical standards.
This role is ideal for someone who is constantly evolving their craft, actively researching new tools, workflows, and AI-driven technologies to improve speed, quality, and scalability across post-production.

Responsibilities
Post-Production Operations & Workflow
- Oversee the full post-production pipeline, ensuring projects remain on schedule, on budget, and aligned with creative objectives.
- Own project intake, prioritization, resourcing, and capacity planning across the post-production team.
- Assign and manage editing tasks using project management tools, balancing workloads across multiple concurrent projects.
- Track timelines, dependencies, and delivery milestones while proactively identifying risks or bottlenecks.
- Continuously evaluate and improve workflows, tools, and systems to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, manage, and mentor the post-production team, including editors and a Senior Editor / Technical Lead.
- Provide professional and situational mentorship to all editors, with a focus on:
- Communication and stakeholder management
- Ownership and accountability
- Prioritization and problem-solving
- Navigating feedback and expectations
- Support career growth, performance development, and soft-skills training for team members.
- Partner closely with the Senior Editor, who serves as the technical and craft lead, while maintaining clear managerial oversight of workload, priorities, and professional development.
Creative, Technical & Innovation Leadership
- Perform hands-on editing as needed to support team capacity, meet deadlines, or ensure creative excellence.
- Maintain high standards for storytelling, pacing, visual quality, color correction, color grading, and audio mixing.
- Leverage DaVinci Resolve for advanced color workflows and finishing, ensuring visual consistency across all deliverables.
- Provide guidance and oversight on motion graphics execution and visual consistency.
- Actively research, test, and implement emerging post-production technologies and AI-driven tools (e.g., AI-assisted editing, color, audio, captioning, localization, and workflow automation).
- Champion a culture of experimentation, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement within the post-production team.
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for post-production coordination with creative directors, producers, marketing partners, and other stakeholders.
- Align on project goals, timelines, scope, and deliverables while managing expectations and resolving conflicts.
- Manage feedback, versioning, and approvals using tools such as Frame.io.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the post-production lifecycle.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of professional video editing and post-production experience.
- 2+ years of people management experience (required).
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
- Required proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, particularly for color correction, grading, and finishing.
Education
