The Restaurant Store, a Clark Associates company, is looking for dedicated and hardworking candidates that have leadership qualities to join our growing company as an Operations Leadership Intern for the summer of 2026. This internship will provide the opportunity to learn all warehouse department operations from the ground up, as well as increasing leadership skills as you work with various department managers throughout the summer.

Responsibilities
As an Operations Leadership Intern, you will:
- Learn warehouse operations and processes in a hands-on environment
- Go through an operations trainee rotation where you will learn about warehouse operations and processes in a hands-on environment through each department from Inventory, Receiving, & Shipping
- Increase your leadership skills taught by supervisors.
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors to develop practical solutions to problems without sacrificing quality
- Help supervisors and their teams meet department’s daily, weekly and monthly goals of the distribution center
- Analyze opportunities for growth, cutting costs, reducing damages and improving efficiencies
- Continually improve productivity targets and process improvements
- Complete internship projects, which could include, but are not limited to:
- Testing new order packing processes and materials
- Creating new standard operating procedures for various warehouse processes
- Improving and updating training manuals
- Testing new warehouse software processes
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Experience:
- Previous work history, showing that you display our company's core values.
- Distribution or warehousing experience is a plus.
Education:
- 3 years of college (heading into Senior year)
