Job Summary
As the largest online distributor of restaurant supplies and equipment, WebstaurantStore hosts an expansive catalogue with over 430,000 products that are delivered through fast, dependable shipping. Unlike most in the e-commerce arena, almost all of our technological design, development, and systems management is done in-house, allowing us to create custom solutions within an ever-changing market. This consistent, organic growth is why we have a need for a Site Reliability Manager looking to further their career. This role focuses on supporting our web application development and e-commerce teams and is a key part of growing the many facets of our business.

Responsibilities
As a Site Reliability Engineering Manager, you will be:
- Working effectively in a collaborative and innovative team-oriented environment.
- Responsible for hiring and growing the team.
- Mentoring and managing performance of approximately 10 direct reports to facilitate career goals
- Organizing and managing timelines, which includes collaborating with Development, BA, QA and other IT teams.
- Actively contributing to code reviews, architecture decisions and process improvements.
- Ensuring our fun and open culture is preserved.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
We are looking for driven, motivated candidates who have:
- 6+ years of proven expertise in leading and managing teams.
- A background running infrastructure at scale with a strong working knowledge of web development.
- Leading teams using Linux, Kubernetes, Prometheus, OTEL, and other cloud native technologies.
- Project Management Lifecycles (Agile -Scrum/Kanban and Waterfall).
- A solid understanding of both on premise and cloud based (Azure) solutions.
Education
