Job Summary
The Research and Development (RaD) Traffic Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations within the RaD team. This position manages the team’s shared inbox, coordinates lab schedules, and serves as a key point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external partners. Responsibilities include overseeing lab organization, managing equipment logistics, supporting data-driven decision-making through Power BI reporting, and conducting research to advance project initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for the RaD team by monitoring the shared inbox/ticketing system, responding to inquiries, and connecting team members with the appropriate resources.
- Facilitate the connection of RaD resources and lab time to projects as needed for testing and product design.
- Support day-to-day lab operations, including organizing the space, setting up test equipment, preparing products for evaluation, and managing inventory and logistics.
- Oversee the intake and organization of new products, coordination of shipments, and facilitate the disposal or redistribution of outdated equipment through recycling, auction, or store transfers.
- Assist with Power BI reporting and research tasks to support decision-making within the team.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
- Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding
