Clark Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Procurement Operations Intern to support key purchasing and supply chain functions. This full-time internship is based in Lancaster, PA, for candidates within a one-hour driving radius.
As an intern, you’ll play a hands-on role in inventory control, forecasting, pricing, and vendor management. You’ll help manage daily procurement activities, support process improvements, and contribute to aligning pricing strategies with broader business goals. Your work will directly impact how millions of dollars in inventory move through our stores, distribution centers, and ultimately to our customers.

Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily inventory tasks such as placing orders, reviewing vendor invoices, and monitoring stock levels
- Coordinating with vendors to resolve day-to-day supply issues
- Contributing to inventory planning and purchasing decisions within cross-functional teams
- Assisting with setting prices to achieve growth and profitability goals
- Participating in initiatives to decrease the cost of serving our customers through packaging improvements, sell units of measure optimization, and order efficiency.
- Reviewing reports to help ensure ordering accuracy and support workflow improvements
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Desired Traits & Skills
- Strong in analytical and critical thinking, with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues independently
- An effective communicator with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to quickly learn internal systems and reporting tools
- Experience or interest in data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus
