Responsibilities
As a Logistics Intern, you will:
- Work closely with our Customer Solutions team and retail store locations to enhance our customers' ordering experience
- Assess incoming customer orders and determine the most efficient fulfillment methods
- Provide friendly and empathetic communication, primarily through email, to customers on the status of their orders
- Assist in problem solving to satisfy customer order requirements and execute strategic solutions
- Communicate with internal and external sources, specifically with our vendors, distribution centers, and purchasing department, to ensure effective order fulfilment
- Assist with entering purchase orders for customized and special order items
- Monitor expedited shipping orders
- Coordinate with our retail store locations to complete online pickup orders
- Offer suggestions and methods to improve delivery and order fulfillment
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Past industry experience is helpful, but not required for this position.
