Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee our supply chain operations. The VP of Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize supply chain, distribution, logistics, warehouse management, and fleet operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational efficiency, inventory management, and process improvement, with proven experience leading high-performance teams and driving business growth.

Responsibilities
Operational Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement scalable operational strategies to support business growth and efficiency.
- Optimize supply chain, distribution, and logistics to ensure on-time deliveries and cost-effective inventory management.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and technology adoption to enhance operational performance.
- Lead initiatives to improve customer fulfillment, warehouse efficiency, and last-mile delivery.
Warehouses & Fleet Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations of warehouse locations and our fleet of vehicles (Transfer trucks, delivery vans, etc.).
- Ensure that all locations meet performance, safety, and customer service standards.
Financial & Performance Management
- Develop and manage budgets, cost controls, and operational KPIs to maximize profitability.
- Implement data-driven decision-making to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead cost-saving initiatives in inventory management and logistics
Real Estate and Expansion
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential real estate opportunities that align with the company's expansion strategy.
- Negotiate lease terms, purchase agreements, and other contractual details with property owners, landlords, and brokers.
- Perform financial analysis and feasibility studies to assess the viability and profitability of potential sites.
- Oversee current store and warehouse maintenance and lease agreements.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build a high-performance culture focused on efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, HR, IT, and marketing to align operational goals with company objectives.
Risk Management
- Develop risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and operational bottlenecks.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Work Environment
This hybrid role requires travel to our Lancaster, PA office, stores across the Mid-Atlantic and Florida, and distribution centers in the Mid-Atlantic region. Work may be remote or in person, depending on business needs.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of five years in a senior supply chain role.
Education
