Job Summary

Global Sourcing Managers are responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize costs, mitigate risks, and ensure the availability of quality goods and services from suppliers across the globe. This position is full-time and located in Lancaster, PA, but is hybrid-friendly, at manager's discretion, for those within a 1-hour driving radius.
Global Sourcing Managers serve Clark’s procurement division, which buys products for our various distribution channels (industry leading Ecommerce platform WebstaurantStore.com, The Restaurant Stores, Clark National Accounts, Clark Food Service Equipment, and 11400, Inc.). In 2024, we reached $3.6B in sales from a catalog of 450K+ SKUs.

Responsibilities
- Identifying and researching quality international manufacturers and products that align with Clark business needs. Then make connections and request quotes for further evaluation.
- Support different category and vendor team on sourcing projects as needed
- Negotiating price, product quality, and terms with product manufacturers in foreign countries
- Conducting potential new supplier's business, quality, compliance and social assessments
- Communicating with overseas manufacturers to ensure quality and timely production
- Attending trade shows and factory visits as needed
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
- Strong computer skills; emphasis in Excel
- Business Proficiency in English is required
- Communicate effectively with vendors in Turkish or Vietnamese
Education
