Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist supports Procurement by executing cross-channel marketing campaigns, coordinating with internal teams to drive product adoption and customer-centric initiatives. They collect and analyze customer insights, manage the marketing calendar, and collaborate on the creation and proofing of promotional materials. Additionally, they track campaign effectiveness and stay informed on industry trends to continuously optimize marketing strategies.
The Marketing Specialist serves Clark’s Procurement division, which buys products for our various distribution channels (industry leading Ecommerce platform WebstaurantStore.com, The Restaurant Stores, Clark National Accounts, Clark Food Service Equipment, and 11400, Inc.). In 2024, we reached $3.6B in sales from a catalog of 450K+ SKUs.

Responsibilities
- Communicates and collaborates with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to support customer-centric and overall business initiatives and drive tactical implementation of marketing initiatives for Procurement.
- Assists in collecting and analyzing customer insight data through interviews, surveys, or panels to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities and translates findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Strategically plans and executes cross-channel marketing campaigns while managing the marketing calendar to promote product adoption across targeted markets. Collaborates with internal stakeholders on product and pricing information as it relates to marketing promotions and sales.
- Assists in the preparation and setup of digital marketing campaigns and print marketing materials.
- Coordinates and provides creative input with the marketing, design, and content teams to generate digital and print materials and aids in the proofing of marketing materials for promotions.
- Tracks, measures and reports on campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stays informed on industry & marketing trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills that ensure timely, effective and impactful collaboration across internal teams.

Qualifications
Experience
- Proficient in MS Office – strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a plus
- Experience in Power BI or analytical platforms a plus
- Business proficiency in English is required
