The Restaurant Store operates twelve store locations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Florida and New Jersey, as well as our ecommerce platform TheRestaurantStore.com. The Restaurant Store is actively growing its presence in Florida and looking for a Field Marketing representative in the Jacksonville area, to help build brand awareness and to foster business relationships ahead of the store's opening in Summer of 2025. The Restaurant Store offers customers a selection of over 20,000 items within their brick-and-mortar locations and over 300,000 items through the ecommerce site, TheRestaurantStore.com. The Restaurant Store sets itself apart by exceeding expectations through having the best people, best price, and best technology. Our Field Marketing team experiences the fast paced, challenging world of restaurants while providing customers with endless solutions and smiles. No two days are the same as a Restaurant Store Field Marketer! This is a salaried role with performance based bonus potential.

Responsibilities

A Field Marketing Representative with The Restaurant Store is responsible for:  

  • Communicating the advantages of shopping with The Restaurant Store in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Visiting restaurants to develop new relationships and introduce them to our ecommerce platform. 
  • Calling or conducting video/virtual meetings with prospective customers to discuss their product needs and develop rapport.  
  • Use of Office and Dynamics 365 Platforms
  • Developing a clear understanding of product line offered online, and gross profit associated with privately labeled products. 
  • Communicating effectively with the Sales team to ensure follow through on sales leads and new customers. 
  • Utilizing marketing software to capture customer data to share with the company. 
  • Planning, organizing, and executing specific marketing and sales programs.  
  • Providing competitor information to the Sales team through competitor invoices. 
  • Ability to efficiently navigate our ecommerce website to assist customers in establishing online accounts and utilizing website tools.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Applicants must have a clean driving record and a vehicle for the role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • 2+ years in food service equipment sales or hospitality

Education
