POSITION SUMMARY

Project Manager I is competent in construction related areas (i.e.: construction drawings, documents, contracts, safety regulations, MEP coordination and scope of work implementation). A Project Manager I can manage an average volume of work comfortably with regular directions from peers and management.

  • Representative of company for all activities & projects
  • Responsible for all Project decisions including:
  • All interdepartmental & project standard operating procedures.
  • Expenses
  • Change Order proposals
  • Equipment approvals
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

This role may work in an office setting and/or telecommute from home. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Requires regular travel to project jobsites. Additional trade may be required to attend events, conferences, trade shows, or trainings. 

Qualifications

Experience

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Combination of education and experience in construction required. Degree in related field is a plus

Education
