WebstaurantStore, a Clark Associates company, is the largest online restaurant supply company, helping foodservice businesses - from small cafés to major enterprises - get the tools they need to grow. Our catalog includes everything from commercial kitchen equipment to frozen foods, apparel, disposables, and more.
We are looking for a proactive, curious Front-End Developer Intern to join our Marketing Sites team for the Summer of 2027. You'll work alongside front-end developers and designers to build and refine customer-facing site experiences across our private label brand portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Build responsive pages and components for private label marketing sites from design comps.
- Translate Figma designs into clean, accessible HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Write tests for your changes and contribute to documentation as part of your feature work.
- Collaborate with design, dev, and marketing stakeholders on site updates and campaigns.
- Partner with designers on design reviews, making sure built pages match comps across devices and browsers.
- Help maintain and extend shared components used across sites.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas in team reviews.
- Participate in dev team agile ceremonies.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. Computer Science, Web Development, or related field preferred, but any major with relevant experience is welcome.
- Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Some exposure to React (coursework, personal projects, or bootcamp) is a plus but not required. Willingness to learn matters more than prior production experience.
- Basic understanding of responsive layout and cross-browser behavior.
- Bonus: familiarity with NextJS, TypeScript, Git, Figma, web accessibility, or e-commerce.
