Job Summary
Why this role: Clark is scaling its tax function, and this seat is a chance to build rather than just maintain. You'll own the full compliance execution layer for a growing group of affiliated businesses, develop new analytics and automation infrastructure from scratch, and step into a collaborative partnership with the Director of Income Tax while leading a team of two to three. This role reports to the Director of Income Tax.
Job Summary: You'll own the preparation and review of Clark and its affiliated businesses' US federal, state, and local tax compliance. This includes the full compliance execution layer: filing calendar, workpaper standards, and review process, along with fixed asset reviews, nexus and apportionment analysis, and incentives, BPT/PPT, and real estate reporting. You'll lead the quarterly tax forecasting process, ensuring forecasts reflect current-year business events and tax law changes, with resulting cash tax obligations reviewed and remitted accurately and on time. You'll also build the analytics and tracking infrastructure that gives the Director real-time visibility into compliance status: variance analysis, nexus and apportionment analytics, and a compliance tracker. You'll supervise two to three direct reports and collaborate closely with the broader tax and finance teams.
