Clark Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Procurement Maintenance Intern within our Procurement Operations department to help build and maintain automation solutions and tools along with supporting process improvement and project management functions across the department. This full-time internship is based in Lancaster, PA, for candidates within a one-hour driving radius.
As an intern, you'll play a hands-on role in building and running automated workflows, developing reporting dashboards, and troubleshooting issues that affect department efficiency. You'll help maintain existing tools, assess current projects for opportunities to improve, and support the rollout of better processes and platforms. Your work will directly impact how efficiently the department operates and how effectively teams collaborate and track progress.

Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining automated workflows using Power Automate to reduce manual tasks
- Designing and updating reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Running and managing existing tools leveraged for department efficiencies
- Troubleshooting discrepancies and working with the department to resolve issues
- Assessing current projects for efficiency and helping determine the best tools to leverage, such as Asana
- Supporting general project management work, including tracking timelines, deliverables, and status updates
- Using AI tools to support development, troubleshooting, and process improvement
- Partnering with teams to identify manual or inefficient processes that could be automated
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Desired Traits & Skills
- Strong in analytical and critical thinking, with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues independently
- An effective communicator with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to quickly learn internal systems and reporting tools
- Experience or interest in Power Automate, Power BI, or similar automation and data visualization tools
- Experience or interest in project management tools such as Asana is a plus
- Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude to support productivity and problem solving
- Coursework, certifications, or personal projects involving automation, data analytics, SQL, or related tools is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail for troubleshooting discrepancies
