Job Summary
Clark Associates is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee key components of the P&L and provide financial leadership across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance for WebstaurantStore, this role will partner closely with business leaders to deliver insights, support decision-making, and strengthen financial planning and analysis capabilities. The Finance Manager position is a development role for future leadership positions and will play a critical role in ensuring financial discipline, accountability, and operational performance.

Responsibilities
P&L Ownership & Business Partnership
- Own P&L responsibility for designated areas of focus (e.g., Sales, Margin, Customer Segmentation), ensuring accuracy, insight, and accountability
- Serve as the primary finance partner to multiple Department VPs across business functions
- Lead monthly or quarterly VP-level cost center review meetings
Month-End Close & Performance Management
- Lead the month-end close, reporting, and financial review process for assigned P&L areas
- Review and approve journal entries, close activities, and monthly reporting for managed P&L areas
- Translate financial results into clear insights, implications, and actions for senior leadership
- Lead month-end financial reviews with senior leaders
Forecasting & Planning
- Oversee and manage the quarterly forecasting process, including, forecasting assigned sections of the P&L, partnering with cross-functional teams to understand forecasting strategies and assumptions, challenging assumptions and identifying opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and consistency, and continuously improving forecasting processes, tools, and cadence
- Package quarterly forecasts into clear, executive-ready deliverables for the Director of Finance, highlighting key drivers, risks, opportunities, and changes versus prior outlooks
Executive Communication & Financial Stewardship
- Clearly articulate financial risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs to leadership
- Ensure financial narratives support disciplined decision-making and strategic priorities
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Accounting, Corporate Finance, and/or FP&A roles
- MBA, CPA or CMA a plus
