Responsibilities
  • Monitoring order fulfillment issues: You will be responsible for continuously monitoring the status of orders, identifying any potential delays or issues, and taking proactive measures to address them. This may involve liaising with other departments, such as inventory management or warehouse operations, to ensure orders are processed and shipped on time.  
  • Providing prompt, clear, and friendly communication to stakeholders: You will be the primary point of contact for customers regarding order updates, inquiries, and concerns. Utilizing email as the main communication channel, you will ensure that customers receive timely and accurate information regarding their orders, while also maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor in all interactions. 
  • Collaborating with various departments: Effective collaboration is essential to ensuring the smooth processing of orders. You will work closely with teams in Logistics, Account Management, Account Support, Operations, and Purchasing to coordinate order processing activities, address any issues that arise, and ensure a seamless experience for our customers. 
  • Proactive problem-solving: As issues or challenges arise with products or services, you will take a proactive approach to identify root causes and implement solutions. This may involve troubleshooting technical issues, resolving shipping discrepancies, or addressing customer service concerns in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Monitoring inventory and order reports: You will regularly review reports and data related to inventory levels, order volume, and order fulfillment metrics. By analyzing this information, you can identify trends, forecast demand, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize inventory management and order processing workflows. 
  • Identifying ways to improve standards and operational efficiencies: Continuous improvement is key to success in logistics. You will actively seek out opportunities to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiencies, and improve overall customer satisfaction. This may involve collaborating with a dedicated programming team to develop and implement automation solutions or process improvements. 
  • Following up on order and shipping errors: In the event of order or shipping errors, you will take ownership of resolving the issue and ensuring customer satisfaction. This may involve investigating the root cause of the error, coordinating with internal teams to rectify the situation, and implementing preventive measures to avoid future occurrences. 
  • Monitoring key department metrics: You will track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to departmental metrics, including profitability, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction. By monitoring these metrics, you can identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and achieve organizational goals.
